Abstract: Farmers' professional cooperatives are one of the important new trading entities in rural areas of China and an important force in promoting comprehensive rural revitalization. However, there are still many obstacles to the development of farmers' professional cooperatives today. This article provides a detailed analysis of some of the problems that exist in the development of farmer professional cooperatives. Firstly, there is the problem of shell societies in cooperatives, which compress the development space of real cooperatives. Secondly, the operating conditions of cooperatives are poor, with significant differences between different cooperatives but overall weakness. Finally, the problem of alienation in cooperatives still exists, and the surplus distribution of most cooperatives does not comply with regulations. The research in this article is of great significance for the development of farmers' professional cooperatives.
