On May 22nd, we invited Professor Yujiao Jia from Jilin University to give an academic report entitled " The Construction of an Age-friendly Society: Concepts, Goals and Action Plans".Part of the teachers and students attended the lecture presided by Dean Lijian Qin.

The lecture was divided into four main parts. Firstly, Prof. Yujiao Jia introduced the background of age-friendly society construction as an endogenous issue of modernization from several perspectives; then, she elaborated the concept of age-friendly society construction in Chinese modernization process; secondly, she introduced the goal of age-friendly society construction in Chinese modernization process; finally, she proposed the plan of age-friendly society construction in Chinese modernization process from four dimensions.

The academic forum which is informative and insightful broadened the horizons of the students and teachers, providing them with a deeper understanding of the construction of an age-friendly society.
