On April 19, our college invited Yu Jia Yu, a tenured professor at Southern Connecticut State University, to give an online academic report entitled "International Comparative Study on the Effectiveness of Medical Expenditure and Management.Part of the teachers and students attended the lecture presided by Dean Lijian Qin.

First of all, Professor Jia Yu introduced the background of medical expenditure, medical expenditure structure, medical quality evaluation system, and the reasons for high medical costs in the United States. Secondly, she introduced the methods and empirical results of relevant quantitative analysis.

The academic forum which is informative and insightful broadened the horizons of the students and teachers, providing them with a deeper understanding of the medical dispute.
