On April 14, Tingxi Liu gave an academic report titled "Research on the Impact of Urban Basic Education Resources on Housing Prices".Part of the teachers and students attended the lecture presided by Lulu Ji.

First, Tingxi Liu gave a detailed introduction to the influencing factors of urban housing prices, and focused on the impact of educational resource allocation on housing prices. Secondly, Tingxi Liu conducted an empirical analysis through the hedonic price model based on the panel data of housing prices and school distribution in Tianhe District, Guangzhou from 2017 to 2019. Research shows that basic education resources have a significant impact on housing prices, and the price of houses with high-quality basic education resources is 29.88% higher than that of houses with ordinary basic education resources. Basic education resources have become an important factor affecting residents' purchase of houses. Finally, from the perspective of education, Tingxi Liu provides targeted policy suggestions for optimizing the housing price adjustment mechanism.

The academic forum which is informative and insightful broadened the horizons of the students and teachers, providing them with a deeper understanding of the relationship between urban basic education resources and housing prices.
