Abstract:The life satisfaction of the elderly is an important indicator to evaluate whether the society is achieving a happy aging society. Improving life satisfaction is also an effective measure to improve the stable development of society. Based on the research data of China's comprehensive social survey, it is found that the life satisfaction of the elderly is affected by many factors. In terms of individuals, factors such as household registration and physical health have a significant impact on the life satisfaction of the elderly; in the family, the elderly who live with their spouses have higher life satisfaction; in terms of social support, pension insurance has a greater impact on the life of the elderly. Satisfaction plays a positive role. Finally, based on the results of empirical analysis, policy recommendations to improve the life satisfaction of the elderly in my country are put forward.
