On November 14th, our institute invitedYunxin Zhang , the chief quantitative strategist of Shenzhen Qianjingyou Trading Co., Ltd., to give an online academic lecture entitled "Big Data Artificial Intelligence and Quantitative Trading".Part of the teachers, graduate students and undergraduates attended the lecture presided by Lijian Qin, the Associate Dean.

Yunxin Zhang first introduced the concept of big data and related technologies, and pointed out by way of example that the volume of big data comes from "sampling", while the volume of small data comes from "full collection", vividly describing the characteristics of big data .Secondly, it introduces in detail the artificial intelligence from the conceptual stage in 1950 to the broad application stage today, showing the development context and application scope of artificial intelligence.Yunxin Zhang emphasized that although big data and artificial intelligence technology still have a large number of unresolved fundamental problems, there are unlimited possibilities in nurturing future cutting-edge technologies.At last, the teachers and students present at the meeting had a heated discussion with strong academic atmosphere. The academic forum which is informative and insightful broadened the horizons of the students and teachers, providing them with a deeper understanding of application prospects of big data and related technologies.
