Jing Lin and Mengchao Pan delivered their academic reports respectively on June 22th, namely The Study on the Influence of Technological Innovation to Economic Growth, and The Study on the Factors Influencing the Concept of Responsibility for Supporting Parents. Some teachers, graduate students and undergraduates of our college attended the forum presided by Yongfei Han, a teacher.
Based on the panel data of 31 provinces from 2007 to 2017, Jing Lin made an empirical analysis of the relationship between technological innovation and economic growth, and then had a discussion on the influence of technological innovation to economic growth. By virtue of building binary Logistic model, Mengchao Panverified the influence of the elderly people’s participation of commercial medical insurance and commercial pension insurance to the concept of supporting parents. At last, the teachers and students present at the meeting had a heated discussion with strong academic atmosphere. The academic forum which is informative and insightful broadened the horizons of the students and teachers, providing them with a deeper understanding of the influence of technological innovation and of the concept of responsibility for supporting parents.
