Yanmin Jiang gave an academic lecture online named How to do Data Analysis Well on June 12th. Some teachers, graduate students and undergraduates of our college attended the lecture.
Yanmin Jiang made an introduction of binary linear regression model and Stata software. Also, taking educational wage function as an example, she expounded the solution of heterogeneity problems and measurement errors. At last, the teachers and students present at the meeting had a heated discussion with strong academic atmosphere. The academic lecture which is informative and insightful broadened the horizons of the students and teachers, providing them with a deeper understanding of data analysis and the methods of writing empirical articles.
