Fangzhi Li gave an academic lecture online named How to do Data Analysis Well on May 29th. Some teachers, graduate students and undergraduates of our college attended the lecture.
Fangzhi Li explained the definition of variables in the process of data analysis first, and then introduced the relationship between quantitative variables and qualitative ones. From the perspective of mixed relationship between quantitative variables and qualitative ones, she demonstrated the modeling process of Logistic regression model. At last, the teachers and students present at the meeting had a heated discussion with strong academic atmosphere. The academic lecture which is informative and insightful broadened the horizons of the students and teachers, providing them with a deeper understanding of the relationship of variables and the choice of regression model.
