Mingtao Zhao gave an academic lecture online named Application of Statistical Analysis Model Based on Least Square Method on May 13th. Some teachers, graduate students and undergraduates of our college attended the lecture presided by Lijian Qin, the Associate Dean.

Mingtao Zhao expounded the essence and relative definitions of statistics model first, and then introduced the relative relationship between influencing factors of statistical analysis and research phenomenon in the process of data analysis. Besides, by virtue of some cases, he demonstrated the modeling process of unitary linear regression model and multiple linear regression model as well as data testing methods such as T test and F test. At last, the teachers and students present at the meeting had a heated discussion with strong academic atmosphere. The academic lecture which is informative and insightful broadened the horizons of the students and teachers, providing them with a deeper understanding of modeling methods of statistics model and the application of least square method.
