Miao Li and Yingying Shi delivered their academic reports respectively on May 11th, namely The Analysis on Influencing Factors of Grain Yield of China in the New Era, andThe Implement of Grandparents Caring for Their Grandchildren, DeferredRetirement and Universal Two-child Policy. Some teachers, graduate students and undergraduates of our college attended the forum presided by Dr. Jirong Liu.

Miao Li verified the co-integration relationship between grain yield and its influencing factors with co-integration analysis, and the suggestions for increasing grain yield were put forward. Yingying Shi made the analysis of status quo of willingness of having a second child and the analysis of grandparents caring for their grandchildren. Moreover, the relevant suggestions are also given. At last, the teachers and students present at the meeting had a heated discussion with strong academic atmosphere. As substantial in content, the forum broadened the horizons of the students and teachers, providing them with a deeper understanding of the internal and external environment of domestic grain production and initial results of relaxing two-child policy.
