Jie Huang and Jingcao He delivered their academic reports respectively on May 4th, namely Whether the Development of Agricultural Production Cooperation Organization Increases the Efficiency of Agricultural Production--- Based on Provincial Panel Date Analysis of Yangtze River Economic Zone, and The Assessment of the Service Efficiency and Historical Change in China’s Pension Service Institutions. Some teachers, graduate students and undergraduates of our college attended the forum presided by Dr. Xiaobo Dong.
Jie Huang made a calculation on the efficiency of agricultural production in Yangtze River Economic Zone with DEA-tobit model, and expounded the factors influencing agricultural production efficiency. Jingcao He demonstrated the historical trends of service efficiency in China’s pension service institutions by referring Malmquist Index, and gave suggestions for improvement in accordance with different situations of each province. At last, teachers and students present at the meeting had a heated discussion on relevant questions with a strong academic atmosphere. As substantial in content, the academic forum broadened the horizons of the students and teachers, providing them with a deeper understanding of Agricultural Production Cooperation Organization and pension service industry.
