On April 6th, Ke Jiang gave an online academic report entitled "The Impact of Trade Openness on Green Total Factor Productivity".Part of the teachers and students attended the lecture presided by Chi Zhang.

First, Ke Jiang gave a detailed introduction to the influencing factors of green total factor productivity under the new dual-cycle development pattern, and focused on the functional role of trade openness in it. Secondly, Ke Jiang uses the undesired super-efficiency SBM model to measure my country's green total factor productivity (GTFP) from 2005 to 2019, and measures the regional differences of GTFP based on the Theil index model. Effects of GTFP. The research shows that the impact of trade opening on GTFP is positive promotion and negative spatial spillover effect. Both import trade and export trade promote regional GTFP, and export trade promotion is more significant. Finally, Ke Jiang provides targeted policy suggestions for improving trade openness and green total factor productivity based on the research conclusions.

The academic forum which is informative and insightful broadened the horizons of the students and teachers, providing them with a deeper understanding of China’s green total factor productivity.
