On March 16, Xiaofeng Guo made an online academic report entitled "Whether the pension has an impact on the life satisfaction of the elderly".Part of the teachers and students attended the lecture presided by Yueyang Xu.

First of all, Xiaofeng Guo analyzed the trend of population aging in my country, and believed that population aging is a social problem facing my country and the world, and life satisfaction is an important indicator to measure the quality of life of the elderly. Secondly, Xiaofeng Guo conducted an empirical analysis on the influence of pensions, pension types, and pension levels on the life satisfaction of the urban and rural elderly, and found that the three influences have a high level of significance. Finally, Xiaofeng Guo put forward policy suggestions based on the research results, and believed that the government should increase financial investment to further improve the coverage of the basic old-age insurance system.
