On November 9th, Jie Gao online made an academic report titled "An Empirical Analysis of the Urban Economic Development Ability of Anhui Province Based on STATA".Part of the teachers, graduate students and undergraduates attended the lecture presided by Han Luo.

Jie Gao selects indicators based on the relevant statistical data of the Anhui Statistical Yearbook in 2019, uses STATA software to analyze the influencing factors that affect the urban economic development capacity of Anhui Province, and analyzes the economic development of 16 prefecture-level cities in Anhui Province Through a comprehensive comparison, the analysis draws conclusions that the economic development of Anhui Province is unbalanced and there are regional differences. Finally, Jie Gao put forward targeted policy recommendations based on the differences in the status quo and development speed of different cities in Anhui Province.

The academic forum which is informative and insightful broadened the horizons of the students and teachers, providing them with a deeper understanding of the urban economic development capacity of Anhui Province.
