On May 25th, Yaoting Su and Qifeng Yin delivered their academic reports respectively on The Analysis on Influencing Factors of Agricultural Mechanization Development in Anhui Province---Based on GM(1,1) Grey Correlation Model, andThe Analysis on Influencing Factors of Rural Residents Participating in Commercial Medical Insurance--- Based on Empirical Analysis of CGSS (2015). Some teachers, graduate students and undergraduates of our college attended the forum presided by teacher Yanhai Zhang.

Yaoting Su analyzed the correlation degree of the influencing factors of agricultural mechanization development by employing grey correlation model. Besides, some suggestions were put forward from four facets --- improving the utilization rate of agricultural land, ensuring rural employment, providing training on agricultural machinery operations and encouraging agricultural cooperatives. The Logist Regression model was used to empirically analyze the influencing factors of rural residents participating in commercial medical insurance, based on the data of Chinese General Social Survey (CGSS) in 2005. Moreover, it was found that commercial insurance rate of farmer has the highest correlation with their educational backgrounds, and some suggestions were put forward accordingly. At last, the teachers and students present at the meeting had a heated discussion with strong academic atmosphere. The academic forum which is informative and insightful broadened the horizons of the students and teachers, providing them with a deeper understanding of the development of agricultural machinery and the influencing factors of rural residents participating in commercial medical insurance.
